Your equipment is a one-time purchase. Your travel, lodging, food and entertainment costs, far exceeds your one time equipment investment. Why not take the time to get the best service and fit from our professionals! Before we begin the boot fitting procedure or start making a ski decision; we ask a lot of questions (over 30) to help you come up with the best possible decision.
WHAT'S DIFFERENT ABOUT THE WAY SALTER'S SELL SKI BOOTS?
THE DIFFERENCE IS, THEY DON'T SELL SKI BOOTS, THEY FIT THEM!!!
Our friends in the ski industry say we're crazy for spending so much time working with customers. To obtain the best possible results it requires lots of time, both yours and ours. Comfort and fit is our key objective.
Technicians will evaluate over 40 parts of your feet, ankles and lower legs, not from a medical standpoint but to pre-determine how the boots need to accommodate your two different feet. (They are different you know).
The staff is so well-trained and committed to our system they won't fit your boots any other way. Besides, there's no extra cost to you, it's part of the boot price.

Choosing The Best Shop For Skis
Purchasing new skis requires lots of decisions. What performance do you expect? What length and type ski are you interested in? How much do you want to spend? How much pressure will you exerted on the skis (your weight and speed)? Is color or manufacturer important? Do you need to be Technically Balanced? (To Determine Your Personal Binding Mount Point). Do you need to be Technically Aligned? (Wedged or Canted} To help your skis track better and make your turns more even. These are just some of the decisions you need to make.
